Sanzenbacher grabs 4 TDs for Ohio St.

Most of the 105,017 fans had filed out of Ohio Stadium before they encountered their only disappointment of the day.

Dane Sanzenbacher tied two school records by catching 4 touchdown passes from Terrelle Pryor, and No. 2 Ohio State poured it on to beat Eastern Michigan 73-20 on Saturday - the most points by the Buckeyes in 60 years.

The biggest cheers throughout the day came when it was announced that Arkansas was leading top-ranked Alabama. The Crimson Tide came from behind to win 24-20, the only damper on an otherwise glittering afternoon for the Buckeyes (4-0).

After all, there was certainly no drama at Ohio Stadium. The Buckeyes scored on their first six possessions against the 441/2-point underdogs, who lost their 16th game in a row and are 0-4 this season.

Wisconsin 70, Austin Peay 3: Even as the points piled up in an epic rout, freshman running back James White stood out. White rushed for 145 yards and four scores as host No. 11 Wisconsin (4-0) steamrolled Austin Peay (2-2). The Badgers scored touchdowns on all seven of their first-half possessions to take a 49-3 lead at halftime. It was a modern-era scoring record for the Badgers, whose previous high was 69 points in a victory over New Mexico State in 1962.

Iowa 45, Ball St. 0: Iowa got exactly what it wanted - an easy victory, plenty of rest for the regulars and healthy starters heading into next weekend's Big Ten opener. Ricky Stanzi threw for 288 yards and 3 touchdowns, and the host No. 18 Hawkeyes (3-1) bounced back from last week's disheartening loss at Arizona by trouncing Ball State (1-3).

Michigan 65, Bowling Green 21: The only scare host No. 21 Michigan got was from an injury to star quarterback Denard Robinson, who twisted his left knee in the first quarter and didn't return. Robinson told The Associated Press after the game: "They said I'm good." The Wolverines have won their first four games for the second straight season. Michigan's win over Bowling Green (1-3) featured its highest-scoring game in coach Rich Rodriguez's three seasons.

Michigan St. 45, Northern Colorado 7: Quarterback Kirk Cousins threw for 290 yards and 2 touchdowns, and host No. 25 Michigan State (4-0) had no trouble winning without coach Mark Dantonio, who had a mild heart attack shortly after last weekend's win over Notre Dame. Michigan State wore the letter "D" on its helmets and gave its recovering coach little to worry about against the Bears (2-2).

Penn St. 22, Temple 13: Collin Wagner tied a school record with 5 field goals, Evan Royster ran for 187 yards, and No. 23 Penn State's defense dominated in the second half to help the host Nittany Lions (3-1) survive a scare from upstart Temple (3-1).

Toledo 31, Purdue 20: Austin Dantin rushed for 2 touchdowns and passed for 2 more to lead Toledo (3-1) past host Purdue (2-2).

Indiana 35, Akron 20: Ben Chappell threw a career-high 4 touchdown passes to lead host Indiana (3-0) past Akron (0-4). Chappell was 23 of 33 for 342 yards. Terrance Turner caught 6 passes for 121 yards and 1 TD for the Hoosiers (3-0).
