Hanover Park hires new village planner

Hanover Park has hired a village planner whose focus will be to encourage sustainable community development and increase business activity.

Katie Bowman previously worked as a research assistant for the Nathalie P. Voorhees Center for Neighborhood & Community Improvement at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an associate planner for the town of Yountville, Calif.

She has a master's degree from UIC in urban planning and policy, with a concentration in economic development physical planning.
