Man charged with sexual assault in 10-year-old case

A Cook County judge set bond at $150,000 Tuesday for a Rolling Meadows man charged with sexually assaulting several children more than 10 years ago, prosecutors said.

Ronald Loconti, 32, faces charges of predatory criminal sexual assault, criminal sexual abuse and aggravated criminal sexual assault, prosecutors said. Loconti, of the 2100 block of Martin Lane, has no criminal background, prosecutors said. He is due back in court on Jan. 6.

Prosecutors did not explain the delay between the alleged attacks and the defendant's arrest.
