Fonda undeserving of good publicity

On Nov. 29, you ran a promotional article about Jane Fonda in the Health & Fitness section. Of all the great things going on to get healthier, why write about and promote Jane Fonda? Your endorsement even gave a website like an advertisement does.

Fonda may be a fine actress (“Barbarella”), she may make millions on the “17 million” videos she has sold, however Jane Fonda still has that history of putting our POWs' lives in danger. She has never apologized. Fonda's comment during a “60 Minutes” interview was that she does not regret that she made broadcasts on Radio Hanoi; however, she had a “lapse of judgment” posing on an enemy anti-aircraft gun. There are just some things that should not be forgiven, and the Daily Herald could find quite a few worthier items or individuals to promote.
