The French (chefs) are coming!

Francophiles rejoice, as Hoffman Estates will once again host a week of events celebrating French cuisine.

The Sister Cities Commission will offer three events starting on Oct. 24 featuring visitors from the village's sister city, Angoulême, France. A cooking class for children 12-15 is scheduled for Oct. 24.

Up to 20 can register at $15 per child. Up to 48 people can attend a food and wine demonstration dinner on Oct. 30 for $60 per person. Call (847) 781-2606 to reserve spots for those two events. The third event is a five-course dinner at L'Eiffel Bistrot and Creperie at The Arboretum of South Barrington. Price is $85 per person; call (847) 428-4783 for reservations.
