Bataviabull; A men's 26-inch, 21-speed mountain bicycle was stolen at the Batavia Public Library, 10 S. Batavia Ave., it was reported at 2:47 p.m. Tuesday, police said.Elginbull; Angela M. Fischer, 42, of the 300 block of Orchard Street, Elgin, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at 1:57 p.m. Wednesday, reports said. She is accused of threatening people with a knife at Larkin Avenue and Jane Drive and is due in court on Oct. 22, reports said.bull; Someone stole a briefcase from a car in an unattached garage in the 0-99 block of North Dubois Avenue between 10 p.m. Tuesday and noon Wednesday, reports said.Genevabull; A Garmin Nuvi 660 GPS device and a cell phone charger were stolen out of a vehicle in the 2000 block of Williamsburg Avenue between 9:15 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday, police said.bull; Tools were stolen out of an unlocked work van between 3 p.m. Aug. 29 and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 500 block of Bloomfield Circle, police said. Taken were a Greenlee hydraulic knockout set, a Hilti cordless rotary hammer, a DeWalt cordless drill, a Milwaukee reciprocating saw, a tool bag containing hand tools, and a label maker. bull; A green and white Jamis Nova Race hybrid bicycle, valued at $1,175, was stolen by a man who had taken it for a test ride at 4 p.m. Saturday at Bicycle Heaven, 12 E. State St. Police said the man is described as white, younger than 30, 6 feet 2 inches tall, with short brown hair and a goatee.bull; A green and gray golf bag, containing 13 clubs, was stolen from a yard in the 500 block of Highbury Lane between 8 a.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday, police said.bull; A gray Raleigh women's mountain bicycle and its cable lock were stolen off a bike rack on the north side of the Metra train station, 328 Crescent Place, between 8 a.m. and 7:20 p.m. Sept. 2, police said.bull; A Link food benefits card and 18 prescription pills were stolen out of a woman's purse between 5 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Howard Street, police said. The woman said she placed the purse on the floor near a couch, then went to sleep on the couch.
