Mean-spirited letter shouldn't have run

Maybe your intent in publishing John Morgan's contribution, "Here's why people vote Republican," was to allow this man to publicly demonstrate his mean-spiritedness. If so, it worked. If not, you should be ashamed of giving him a forum for this level of hateful rhetoric.
