Armed robbers hit in Aurora

Aurora police have detained four suspects in an armed robbery Wednesday night.

Police confirmed the robbery took place near Smith Elementary School, just south of I-88 in Aurora, about 9:20 p.m.

No charges had been filed as of late Wednesday, police said. Charges may be filed today pending the investigation.

Police would not provide any further details of the incident Wednesday night.
