Changes planned in Cook Memorial Public Library District

As the renovation and expansion of the Cook Park Library in Libertyville nears completion, Cook Memorial Public Library District officials have announced some service changes.

In December, new holds and inter-library loans will not be allowed. Additionally, the temporary storefront library that's been operating in Libertyville will close permanently on Dec. 16.

The Aspen Drive Library in Vernon Hills will be closed Dec. 17, but just for that one day. Although officials had been aiming to reopen the Libertyville library in January, a date has not been set.
