Take the hatred out of the opining

My fellow American citizens, could we tone it down a little please? I know my friends on the left are more than a little anxious about the impending election tsunami. I know my friends on the right are more than a little gleeful over these events.

Could we, though, have fewer vitriolic hate-filled comments? Please, no more dumbocraps, repukes, republikants, dimbocrats, obozos, bushitlers and the like? I appreciate facts, sources and opinion - but without the hatred.
