What rights has Glen Beck lost?
First, I would like to say your coverage of the Glen Beck rally was horrid and one-sided to be sure. So much for the liberal media. What a joke.
Those people paid money to hear him preach his Mormon God plans. Do they know that Mormon men think they are God, and the state of Utah protects multiple wives for one man? The reason people are so upset over Glen Beck's call to take back his civil rights, is what rights has he lost? The right to hang a black man and it not be a crime, until maybe 1968 when the last lynching was held and no one went to jail? In Paris, Ill., yet.
Was it when he sat in the "whites only" section of the bus depot and beaten to an inch of life then thrown into jail? The year was 1963; how old was Mr. Glen Beck in is white neighborhood in his white privileged family? Yes, what civil rights were denied him? What, when and how? I bet his family could move anywhere they wanted without some one burning a cross in their yard.
Was it when he had to go to the back of the bus or be beaten and thrown into jail? Or be hung by a white mob just for looking at the white women? Emmit Till, he had no civil rights.
The day that a white man can be lynched and it not be a crime, is the day a white man can have his civil rights restored, but not until then. Oh, how you all have forgotten, and it is a sad day you think you are being denied anything at all. You all need a history lesson.
