Your news: Arlington Heights Senior Center hosts Scrapbooking Club

Looking for a new hobby that involves crafts, color and fun? Enjoy scrapbooking but would like a group to scrapbook with? Stop in the Arlington Heights Senior Center's Scrapbooking Club to get a start on a new craft or continue the creative hobby with others who love to do the same.

The Scrapbooking Club will be held at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road, on the second Monday of each month from 4:30-8:30 p.m.; Sept. 13, Oct. 11 and Nov. 8. The group also meets on the first Friday of each month from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; Oct. 1 and Nov. 5. No sessions to be held in December. Stop in for any one, several or all dates.

There are no reservations needed to attend the club. Any interested scrapbookers should come to the meetings with their own photos and supplies. Trimmers, oval cutters and basic paper supplies will be provided.

The Arlington Heights Senior Center is open to persons 55 and over from any community. No membership. For more information, contact the senior center at (847) 253.5532.
