Country needs to return to God

As we all know, our economy is not doing well; the present administration in Washington is spending trillions of dollars, getting us deeper in debt, and it doesn't seem to be helping.

Also, they are putting too many things under the control of the federal government - health care, the banks, car companies - and the list goes on. Our country is becoming unrecognizable from what our Founding Fathers, with the help and guidance of God, established.

That is bad enough, but more bad things are happening. In many schools they are teaching evolution to the students, and refuse to also teach intelligent design. Scientists study every theory and angle. Teaching only one theory and excluding others is not science - it is brainwashing. Also we have heard cases where Christian groups were not allowed to meet in schools while at the same time witchcraft clubs were allowed. That is not right. Then there was the group of people who tried to pray in front of the Supreme Court building and were turned away. They can't pray publicly in the U. S?

Those tactics more closely resemble the old Soviet Union. Many couples have decided to live together and have children without bothering to get married. And others are engaging in other forms of sexual perversion. And some people say, "I'm OK with that," all in the name of tolerance. We should tolerate and coexist peacefully with all people of all races and creeds. But we should not tolerate bad behavior or oppression from those in authority. We need to stand up and speak out against the wrongs, and stand up for what is right. Our country needs to turn back to the right way and return to God, before it is too late.
