Detroit band appearing in freecreditscore.com ads
DETROIT -- A band from Detroit has won a national talent search for a group to represent freecreditscore.com in its advertising.
Experian announced Tuesday that the winning group is Victorious Secrets. Its name is a play on that of a popular line of women's intimate apparel but is spelled V-I-C-T-O-R-I-O-U-S.
The Martin Agency has created the Victorious Secrets ad campaign, which debuts during the 2010 MTV Video Music awards Sept. 13. More than 100 groups tried out for the job.
The Michigan band consists of bassist Bryon Rossi, drummer Daniel Rossi, keyboard player Stephen Saputo, and guitarists Daniel Zott and Michael Mulliniks.
Experian says Victorious Secrets stands out with its "originality, pop-rock style and tongue-in-cheek humor."
