Aurora teen prepares for Eagle Court of Honor
An Aurora teen, Sean Martin Fisher, will be recognized at an Eagle Scout Court of Honor at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 29, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1320 Ridgeland Ave., Naperville.
The son of Kenneth and Yolanda Fisher, he's a member of Troop 203 in Naperville.
Fisher's Eagle service project was to design and build eight costume racks for Metea Valley High School's theater department. He held a fundraiser during the school's winter play and the racks were used in Metea's inaugural musical production, "The Pajama Game."
A sophomore at Metea, the 15-year-old Fisher has earned 28 merit badges, entered the Order of the Arrow, and held many Scout leadership positions.
Eagle Scout is the highest rank in Scouting and only 2 percent of Scouts achieve it.
