Batavia middle school gets new principal

Rotolo Middle School in Batavia will have a new principal in the fall.

Tara Piatek will take over for Kelley Karnick, who recently resigned from the position after three years. Piatek has been a dean and assistant principal at Batavia High School for the last six years.

The school also will have a new associate principal, as Josh Bulak has become the district's finance director.
