Jersey Mike's fundraiser:Geneva's Jersey Mike's fundraiser for two local Les Turner ALS Foundation Walk4LifeTeams is today. Radio station 95.9 The River will be on hand between 5 and 7 p.m. at the restaurant, 1770 S. Randall Road, Suite C. There will also be raffle prizes to help raise funds to battle amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and support those living with the disease. Jersey Mike's will donate 10 percent of the day's sales; neighboring business The UPS Store will also donate a percentage of its day's sales.Model Train show returns: The annual model train show returns to Fox Valley Park District's Blackberry Farm from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 100 S. Barnes Road, Aurora. In its 12th year, the show features an array of grand-scale miniature railroads as well as enthusiasts from around the region. The show also will feature a train and village display built entirely of Legos. Entry to the show is included in the farm's daily admission fee of $4.25 for resident adults ($7 for others) and $3.75 for resident children ($6 for others).
