Sopranos were part of presentation to LeBron

Teams pulled out all the stops during the LeBron James recruiting presentations.

According to the Cleveland Plain-Dealer, the Cavaliers spent six months putting together a "Family Guy" style cartoon featuring James and his friends, with plenty of inside jokes. "Family Guy" is said to be one of James' favorite shows.

The New York Knicks came up with a long-awaited "Sopranos" sequel. James Gandolfini and Edie Falco agreed to reprise their roles as Tony and Carmela Soprano for a short skit imploring James to sign with the Knicks, according to ESPN.

James received a surprise package from Chicago, but it came from the Leo Burnett advertising agency, not the Bulls. The box contained a pair of vintage, red and black Air Jordan sneakers and came with a card that read, "The fans of Chicago have a question for you: Do you dare fill these shoes?"

The agency also sent an empty case with room for seven championships rings and a newspaper mockup of James winning a title with the Bulls. James has acknowledged he grew up rooting for the Bulls and Michael Jordan, so he figures to embrace the challenge of following in those footsteps.

It's not clear if Leo Burnett asked for the Bulls approval before sending the items or if James even took a look at them.
