Sky scouting report

Chicago Sky (12-12) at Indiana Fever (15-7) When 6 p.m. today at Conseco Fieldhouse TV CN100 Last time On Saturday, the Sky defeated the Silver Stars in San Antonio (75-72) and the Fever defeated the Mystics in Washington (78-73). Skinny Maybe the fifth time will be the charm. The Sky just can't seem to get it right against the Fever. In four meetings between the two teams so far this season, Indiana has come away with four wins. This is the Sky's last chance to even make a dent in the season series - It won't be easy. The Fever is one of the hottest teams in the WNBA right now, having won seven of its last 10 games and four straight. In fact, in recent days, the Fever has catapulted ahead of both the Atlanta Dream and the Washington Mystics to take over first place in the Eastern Conference-Former Stevenson High School star Tamika Catchings and Katie Douglas, who led Purdue to a national championship in 1999, lead the way for the Fever. They average about 17 and 14 points respectively. However, a silver lining for the Sky is that Catchings is averaging only 11 points against the Sky this season - The Sky has been relatively hot lately, too, winning four of its last five games. Sylvia Fowles, who recorded her 11th double-double of the season against San Antonio (23 points, 12 rebounds), is leading the Sky with 18 points and 10.2 rebounds per game. Next Sky at Seattle Storm, 9 p.m. Friday - Patricia Babcock McGraw
