Interesting choice of meeting place by Obama administration
In yet another example of the Obama administration's violation of their transparency pledge, they are now conducting meetings with special interest groups at the local Caribou Coffee shop. These clandestine encounters are designed to circumvent the required sign-in for all visitors to the White House. The President further proclaimed that he would not be influenced by lobbyists and yet that is precisely the objective of these coffee clutches.
The mainstream media has also failed to point out that Caribou Coffee is owned 87.8% by the First Islamic Investment Bank, which, among other things has the following philosophy: "Above all, ensuring that all activities conform to Islamic Shari'ah."
Is the White House unwittingly using a business whose philosophy runs counter to our own Constitution? The President has previously said that we are "Not a Christian nation" and "We are not a war with Islam." It is clear from the numerous attacks on United States citizens by radical Islamic terrorists that Islam is at war with us.
Maybe the next time White House officials meet at Caribou Coffee with their favorite special interest group and order their espresso, instead of asking how may sugar packets they want, the server may ask them if they want one lump or two.
