Leaf removal halted in Mundelein

Due to this week's snowstorm, curbside leave removal in Mundelein has been halted by Groot Industries, the company handling the annual task, village officials announced. If the snow melts and leaves are once again visible this year, Groot may resume leaf removal. If not, the company may schedule another round of leaf collection in the spring, officials said.
