Elginbull; A purse was stolen from the shoulder of woman dropping off her child at a sitter at Lawrence Avenue and Jackson Street at around noon on Sunday, reports said.bull; Thomas M. Bradford, 28, who is homeless, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and felony aggravated assault at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of North McLean Boulevard after police were called for a subject who was yelling at cars and pedestrians, reports said. An officer was cut on his index finger during the incident, reports said. Bond was set at 10 percent of $20,000 Thursday morning and he is due in court on Wednesday.bull; Someone caused $500 damage to a 2003 Chevy Suburban in the 700 block of McLean Boulevard when its side window was hit with a golf ball between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday, reports said.West Dundeebull; Chanelle E. Johnson, 38, of the 100 block of Hazard Road, Carpentersville, was arrested and charged with felony retail theft at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday at Sears at Spring Hill Mall, authorities said. Johnson is accused of stealing two bottles of perfume and a dress, a value less than $150, but it's a felony because of previous arrests for retail theft, court documents said. Her bond was set at 10 percent of $3,000 Thursday and she is due in court on July 14, reports said.
