Jenks reinstated after bereavement leave
Prior to tonight's game at Texas, White Sox right-handed reliever Bobby Jenks hgas been reinstated from the Major League Bereavement/Family Medical Emergency List. He has been on the list since June 27 due to a family illness.
Jenks, 29, is 1-1 with a 4.03 ERA (13 ER/29.0 IP), 17 saves and 35 strikeouts in 31 games this season. He ranks fourth in the American League in save percentage (94.4, 17-18) and tied for eighth in saves.
Jenks has converted 12 straight save opportunities and has allowed one run in 12.0 IP over his last 13 appearances (0.75 ERA).
