Firing professor makes no sense
I'm confused. The University of Illinois hired a Catholic professor to teach two classes about the Catholic Church, then fired him for believing the very Catholic doctrine which they hired him to teach. Huh? I must be missing something.
So could someone please explain to this Protestant why a man would be fired for believing the Dogma which his religion requires him, and every other Catholic in the world, to believe? Did his teachings make the modern day politically correct Sanhedrin nervous? I can only wonder how long until the University requires Jewish and Muslim professors to eat ham sandwiches to prove they are not discriminating against students whose families raise pigs.
