Hinz an ideal village manager

I was pleasantly surprised to notice in a recent Daily Herald that Carpentersville Trustee Keith Hinz has expressed an interest in becoming Carpentersville's new village manager. I have lived in the Cardunal area for over 45 years and believe that our little portion of the Fox Valley is among the best. I also believe that, as village manager, Keith Hinz would be among the best.

In addition to his broad experience and many years of related service to DeKalb County and District 300, he has unselfishly given countless hours of volunteer work to community projects - most recently, the Patriot Project, which has been described by Carpentersville Village President Ed Ritter as "perhaps the greatest day in Carpentersville's history."

Keith has ideal qualifications for this job, but his greatest qualification is one that you won't find on his resume. I am talking about the love and commitment he has for his village and the positive vision and unwavering optimism I hear in his voice when he talks about the future of Carpentersville.
