Kudos for 'driving on dime' package

The Daily Herald deserves a Pulitzer Prize for investigative journalism for its "Driving on Ur Dime" reporting.

What is more amazing than the facts themselves is how cavalierly the government officials justify their taxpayer-paid automobiles, while budget shortfalls are jeopardizing the public's police, fire and other human services protections.
