Arlington Park fireworks to get on track July 3

Celebrate Independence Day with a big fireworks show July 3 at Arlington Park racecourse at Euclid Avenue and New Wilke Road.

The track will have a more than 30 minute fireworks display at dusk, accompanied with a mix of patriotic and popular music.

Racing starts at a special twilight post time of 4 p.m.

General admission for July 3 is $8 in advance online; $10 at the gate if bought by 10 a.m. on July 3. Reserved seating admission is $10 to $18 online in advance; and $12 to $20 at the gate.

Executive boxes online are $18 including admission.

Gates open at 11:15 a.m.

Due to last year's response to the Racing, Music and Fireworks event, the track recommends you arrive at Arlington Park no later than 6 p.m. Parking lots and gates will close at 6:45 p.m. - please have your ticket in hand upon arrival to display for the parking control attendants.
