Delnor collecting items for Haiti relief

The people of Haiti continue to grapple with the destruction and loss of life due to the recent 7.0 magnitude earthquake. They struggle with the basics - food, water, clothing and shelter.

With this need so great, Delnor's Giving Tree can help and everyone in the community can do their part as well. During June, Delnor's Giving Tree will be collecting gently used children's/teen clothing, school supplies, silverware and over-the-counter medications to help the earthquake victims in Haiti. Donations will support the United Way, who is providing emergency relief to Haiti.

In communities across America, 1,350 local chapters of United Way continue to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of their communities. More than fundraisers, United Way are partners in change, working with a broad range of people and organizations to identify and resolve pressing community issues both here and abroad. Join Delnor Hospital in their drive to support the United Way and the earthquake survivors of Haiti.

Delnor is collecting gently worn children's and teen clothing and shoes, ages 5-18; school supplies, silverware - new or gently used spoons, knives, and forks; over-the-counter medication such as cough syrups, ibuprofen, and eye drops.
