Hope for peace endures in America
There are those in the "Long Gray Line" of West Point graduates and those distinguished as graduates from the Naval Academy, the Coast Guard Academy, the Merchant Marine Academy, the Air Force Academy and other military training facilities who dreamed of great service to our country who never returned from their battlefield assignments.
There are all those thousands of young men and women, the military heroes of our indivisible United States, who have given their lives and died for the cause of peace. Their hopes and dreams seemed to die with them but their greatness and goodness will never be diminished or extinguished.
Now and forever, they experience the most graceful maneuver in the high and mighty aerobatic formation with the Grand Wing Commander Himself. We all pray that one day soon a new order will be issued on their behalf that every ship and shore signal light spell out P-A-X, the call sign for peace on every hour of every day and night, and circle the world forever because the cause of peace endures. Their hope for peace rises again. Their dream for peace lives on. And their dream will never die.
