Town hall tonight
State Rep. Keith Farnham will host a town-hall meeting with Carpentersville Village President Ed Ritter at 7 p.m. today at Carpentersville village hall, 1200 LW Besinger Drive. Farnham will discuss legislation that passed during the spring session and Ritter will provide updates on issues in Carpentersville. Constituents are invited to share their ideas and concerns.
Free library service
The Huntley Area Public Library's free Library2Go service delivers most library materials to your doorstep if you are disabled or lack transportation to the library. Farmers market in Algonquin
Algonquin's annual Farmers Market runs from 1 to 7 p.m. every Thursday through September in the municipal parking lot on South Harrington Street. Fruits, vegetables, baked goods, plants and organic goods will be available. For more information, visit www.downtownalgonquin.org.
