Arlington Heightsbull; Natalie Kopacz, 24, of the 1200 block of Deerfield Parkway, Buffalo Grove, was arrested around 6:45 p.m. June 17 at Kohl's, 800 W. Dundee Road, and charged with felony retail theft. Reports said she hid jewelry and a dress in her purse and put on eight pairs of underpants and a pair of shorts, total value $318. Her court date is June 25.bull; Thieves stole two specialized bicycles: a 24-speed road bike and a 1-speed dark blue mountain bike out of an apartment building storage unit on the 500 block of East Seegers Road between June 2 and 19. Glazik, 41, of the 1400 block of Joyce Street, Palatine, was arrested at 5 a.m. June 11 in the 1800 block of Winnetka Circle and charged with battery. His next court date is June 30. According to police reports, the complainant said that after an earlier argument, Glazik came to his motel room and punched him in the face several times. The complainant was treated and released at Northwest Community Hospital.bull; A 1999 red Suzuki Grand Vitara was stolen from the parking lot outside a residence in the 5400 block of Astor Lane overnight June 10.bull; Thieves removed the in-dash stereo and GPS device from a 2001 white Lincoln Navigator overnight June 10 in the 4700 block of Arbor Drive, for a loss of $750. Around the same time and location, thieves remove the in-dash CD player from an unlocked 1995 black Mitsubishi Montero for a loss of $100. bull; A man was seen attempting to remove an air compressor from the rear of a 2001 white Ford F-250 pickup truck about 8:50 p.m. June 12 in the 4700 block of Arbor Drive, but fled on foot when confronted.bull; Vandals smashed the side window to a 1995 gold Pontiac Transport about 11 p.m. June 14 in the 3600 block of Jay Lane, causing approximately $200 in damage.bull; Ryan J. Banks, 24, of the 3300 block of Kirchoff Road in Rolling Meadows, was arrested at about 9:30 a.m. Jan. 15 at the police station and charged with aggravated assault after a confrontation with police. His next court date in July 8. Reports said he demanded to make a complaint about being harassed by police and made threatening statements, then left the building before the responding officers arrived. Outside, he became belligerent and irate, yelling and swearing at the officers, and threatened to beat one of the officers as he raised his hand and approached the officer, police said.bull; A thief engaged a woman in a discussion about ice cream about 3:30 p.m. June 15 at Walmart, and the woman later noticed that her black, leather wallet was missing.
