Kirk best man for U.S. Senate

As a military veteran, I was and continue to be a supporter of Mark Kirk and his bid for U.S. Senate against Alexi Giannoulias. Kirk's 21-year career as a member of the Naval Reserves should be applauded. As a five-term congressman it is particularly impressive that Kirk has continued to serve his country while working hard for his constituents. His record of independence and leadership sharply differ from Alexi Giannoulias, whose corrupt tenure at Broadway Bank and failure as state Treasurer should be more than enough to disqualify him from serious consideration.
