Fire disrupts summer school at Naperville North

A small electrical fire broke out at Naperville North High School about 10:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The fire was located in part of the heating and air conditioning system on the first floor of the east side of the school. A contractor working nearby discovered the fire and extinguished it with assistance from a school custodian.

Students attending summer school were evacuated until about 11:45 a.m. Firefighters are investigating the incident. Classes will proceed as normal on Thursday, June 17.
