Heart warmed by veterans reception

I am a Coast Guard veteran that marched in the Rolling Meadows Memorial Day parade. It was a honor and a pleasure to see all the Rolling Meadows citizens come out and give up their time to thank us and show their gratitude for our service.

I was especially proud of my wife who marched with me holding her late father's military picture honoring him in the parade.

I would like to say thank you to all the Rolling Meadows citizens for your support and for your gratitude for our service.
