Concert rudeness remarks accurate

We read the June 8 letter in Fence Post from Jim Lentz concerning the poor etiquette exhibited during summer concerts. We wholeheartedly agree with his comments.

Because of the constant thoughtless talking, cell phone conversations, running and yelling children, we no longer attend the concerts. The musicians do a fine job and we have in the past enjoyed their performances. However, there does not seem to be an appreciation of their efforts nor even a polite response.

What is the solution? Don't know, but would hope that things might change when people think about how their inconsiderate behavior affects the enjoyment of others.
