DEERFIELD - Walgreens is advancing the use of technology with the launch of several new features including Prescription Text Alerts that notify customers via text message when their prescriptions are ready.

Walgreens has also relaunched its iPhone application and mobile site, m.walgreens.com.

Shoppers can also get special offer texts, information about exclusive Walgreens deals and coupons via text message.
