Grainger reports sales increase

LAKE FOREST - Grainger, a broad line supplier of maintenance, repair and operating products with an expanding presence in Asia and Latin America, reported that daily sales increased 16 percent in May compared to last May. Results for the month included a 5 percentage-point positive contribution from acquisitions and a 2 percentage-point contribution from foreign exchange.  Excluding acquisitions and foreign exchange, daily sales for the company increased 9 percent.
