Palin visit was pure entertainment
Many thanks to the Rosemont Theatre for hosting The Sarah Palin Show. Since its inception the theater has brought excellent entertainment and comedy to our area. Sarah Palin's appearance helped continue that tradition.
Palin's craft is nothing more than entertainment, speckled with her folksy style of inciting riot in her base with seemingly politically motivated "paper tiger" rhetoric. She is a storyteller who knows very well how to make money "preaching to the choir."
I am sure she is aware she stands little chance of ever winning the presidency, but stands to make a lot of money with her brand of entertainment. Although she is a fairly good entertainer, she will never win an Oscar, and as a mediocre-at-best leader, she hopefully will never win public office again.
As P.T. Barnum once said: "The show must go on." Or was it: "There's a sucker born every minute."?
