Move everyone to Social Security

I just finished reading a piece on our broken Social Security system. An idea that has bounced through my mind is that we should do away with all government pension plans, including teachers, and add all of those workers to the Social Security Administration.

It seems like an easy fix to our problem of fewer workers these days since so many jobs went overseas.
