The face of change independents need

For many years, the only choice for Congress from the 6th district was Henry Hyde, a man of extreme right wing views, the poster boy for denying a women's right to control her own body and the most fundamental choice of bringing a child into this world. Henry Hyde could be counted on to take the most extreme right-wing position on any issue.

Then a young man named Peter Roskam was elected to Henry Hyde's seat promising to be a fresh face. Roskam, however, proved to be the reincarnation of Henry Hyde, carrying on as the same pro-war, anti-women, anti-environment proponent of class warfare. The list of Roskam's no votes, anti-citizen votes, is long, as he has voted against minimum wage, energy Independence and clean energy, green jobs, children's health insurance, college cost reduction, campaign finance reform, wall street reform, health care and affordable housing.

But finally there is an alternative. His name is Ben Lowe, a lifetime resident of DuPage County, environmentalist and graduate of Wheaton College. Ben Lowe can show us what Christian leadership really is. A true Christian believes that all life is precious, not just in the womb. Ben Lowe is for saving our precious environment.

Ben represents a fresh breathe of change for DuPage County. Ben believes in promoting green jobs of the future, and supporting a world class educational system. He believes in using diplomacy instead of force, comprehensive immigration reform, fiscal responsibility, campaign finance reform and holding government accountable so that it works for all the people of DuPage County not just those few fortunate enough to buy influence from career politicians like Peter Roskam. DuPage County needs Ben Lowe to be that face of change we independent voters have longed for these many years.
