Bulls watch Day 18: Bosh makes his list

Here's a glance at some of the latest developments as the Bulls search for a new coach and prepare to court top free agents:

Bosh makes his list: According to ESPN.com, Chris Bosh's agent gave Toronto a list of four destinations he would prefer in a sign-and-trade. Those teams are the Bulls, New York, Miami and the Lakers. Bosh apparently hasn't ruled out staying put, but even the most optimistic Raptors fan would have to agree that's a longshot.

A source was quoted predicting Bosh would most likely follow LeBron James to Chicago or New York. If James stays in Cleveland, the process would be wide open.

Again, here's a dream scenario for the Bulls that might have a chance of happening: Luol Deng, Taj Gibson and maybe a draft pick to Minnesota, Al Jefferson to Toronto and Bosh to the Bulls, who would have enough cap room left for James or Joe Johnson.

Bulls like Thibodeau: With Boston making an impressive surge in the playoffs, it's becoming likely the Bulls will make a point of interviewing Celtics defensive coordinator Tom Thibodeau for their coaching position. When he will be free to talk is unclear, with Boston 2 victories from returning to the Finals.

The Bulls have been meeting with draft prospects and coaching candidates during the NBA's predraft camp, held the past two days in Chicago. The coaching talks are informal right now, and they'll settle on a small list to bring in for in-depth interviews in the coming weeks.

Maurice Cheeks and Lawrence Frank remain the leading candidates, but Thibodeau could join that group. Before joining Doc Rivers in Boston, Thibodeau worked under Jeff Van Gundy in New York and Houston.
