Plato Township crash injures two
Two people were injured during a three-vehicle collision Wednesday night in unincorporated Plato Township, according to authorities.
The Kane County sheriff's office responded to the crash on Plank Road near Brier Hill Road at 9:47 p.m. Wednesday, Lt. Patrick Gengler. said
Two people were taken to Elgin hospitals, but their conditions were not known late Wednesday.
The sheriff's office is investigating the crash and was not able to provide further details Wednesday night.
It is not known if ice played a role in the crash, but Gengler noted that roadways in western Kane County are extremely icy.
More information is expected to be released Thursday morning.
