Enjoy steak and lobster at Marmion Academy

The Marmion Alumni Association will hold its annual Steak Fry/Lobster Boil on Friday, June 4, at Marmion Academy, 1000 Butterfield Road in Aurora.

Dinner tickets are $30 for either lobster or steak and must be purchased in advance by calling the Alumni Office at (630) 897-6936, ext. 228. Lobster tickets will only be sold through Friday, May 28. Alumni, parents and friends of Marmion are welcomed to attend, but must be at least 21 years of age. Advanced reservations required.

A social hour begins at 6:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m. Dinner tickets include rib eye steak or 1.5 lb Maine lobster, baked potato, corn on the cob, vegetables, all the trimmings as well as beer, wine, soft drinks and coffee.

The evening features split-the-pots, raffle baskets and a live auction with items including week stays at a condo in Kissimmee, Fla. or a Chalet in Michigan's Upper Peninsula as well as golf, refreshments and dinner for three with a member at the Medinah Championship Course "Home of the 2012 Ryder Cup."

The Alumni Association will hold its Big Ticket Raffle at 9 p.m. with 25 chances to win and a grand prize of $25,000. Only 1,000 will be sold (licensed by the city of Aurora) and only 100 tickets are still available. To purchase a $100 ticket, call Donna Bohr at (630) 897-6936, ext. 228.
