Border, not climate, is nation's biggest threat
You won't see this in any Main Street media or in a headline in this paper. The existential threat to this country is not climate change but the invasion of our southern border. Anyone that doesn't believe this is living in an alternate universe. The president and Homeland Security secretary took an oath to obey and enforce all laws of the United States and protect our borders.
This administration has routinely ignored the rule of law and has let illegal immigrants come across our border at the rate of 10,000 per day. This comes at a cost of billions of dollars to the American taxpayer and an increase in crime and welfare along with other ramifications.
It also has increased the amount of drugs coming across our border. It also has disrupted our school system and our healthcare system. Any money spent should go to clean up our cities that have problems with homeless living in tents and taking drugs and urinating in the streets.
It has finally come to a head in cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and many other cities who declared that they are sanctuary cities. All these cities are run by progressive mayors or governors and are now saying that the illegal situation is unsustainable and are now asking for money from the federal government, which means all of us..
If people don't wake up and keep voting for the so called progressives, then I feel for successive generations of citizens of this country.
