Health care reform is a needed change because it puts the welfare of people first before the interest of big insurance companies. Medical decisions for the health and well-being of an individual will no longer be under the decision of the insurance companies but under the decision of the medical professionals. People can be assured that they will not be denied the medical care that they need when they need it most and will not have to worry that they cannot afford it.
