Give tax incentives to home-school
Look at the financial mess the schools are in now. Parents go to work to pay into the school system, so the school system can watch over and try to educate the children while parents work feverishly to pay into the school system.
The teachers feel they deserve more and more of the taxpayers money, so parents work harder and longer to feed the already corrupt system. The overtime the parents work turns into after school programs that tax the system even more by requiring that teachers supervise the children long after the school day has ended until the parents are done with overtime at work to pay the taxes to pay the teachers.
There has to be an easier answer, maybe we should take a step back in time and have one parent or grandparent stay with, supervise, and educate our own children while spending quality time with them while the other or only parent works.
We have our children and then look for someone else to raise them!
This can't be God's big plan for us, to shuffle the children we bore off to others to supervise and raise them for us. We ourselves have to teach, love, and nurture our own children, not just turn them over to teachers to do our jobs for us.
Teachers know how dependent parents are on them that's why they exploit us financially.
Home schooling which has been frowned upon is now more than ever a very good solution to our problems with the school systems. Parents who home school should be given a tax break and not have to pay into public school taxes. This would be a huge incentive to all parents to home school their own children.
