Stroger Hospital expands parking for patients
Chicago's Stroger Hospital is expanding its parking for patients and visitors.
An additional 450 spots are now available to the public in the hospital parking garage. The spots opened up with the addition of a new employee parking lot.
An additional 1,400 spots are expected to be available late next year. That's when a new parking structure will be completed next to the current parking garage. Cook County officials have approved the project and construction is set to start later this year.
Stroger is part of the Cook County Health and Hospitals System.
