Other states should follow Arizona's lead
The Arizona governor signed off on checking for illegals. Hopefully other states will follow suit. If you are here illegally, then you need to go. If you are here legally, presenting ID should not be a problem. Being born in this country myself, I do not have a problem showing my ID.
Since our president cannot seem to keep promises made and has done nothing about immigration, he now is trying to find fault with Arizona's ruling. What's the problem, Mr. Obama, the Hispanic votes?
Some Mexicans from Mexico come here and commit crimes - being here illegally is a crime. Now all the activists who should probably get a real job are trying to stop deportation.
First of all, they should speak English - we created that monster. I am tired of standing in line at stores when they show their Link cards with 5 kids hanging on to them - then they leave and get into expensive SUVs.
Soon we will have no rights because the number of Hispanics here will protest what they do not like in our country, and government does nothing! Yes, I am frustrated and angry like many of us are because of being overtaken.
Do you think illegals will fill out census forms? No, so they will reap state funding that should not be an entitlement to them, not to talk about overcrowded schools.
What about us who pay our taxes all our lives? That we sometimes need help and cannot get it because we do not have many children.
And this monster we have created - ENGLISH - if they cannot speak it then go to your own country. I do not see anything printed for other nationalities except Hispanic. We can also thank the government for that - I refuse to learn their language to make it easier for them - which is already too late.
