Shots fired at Beach Park house

A home in Beach Park was shot at early Monday morning, according to a Tuesday news release from the Lake County sheriff's office.

The home on the 39100 block of Queensbury Lane was shot at several times around 4:15 a.m. No one inside the home was injured.

The sheriff's office believes the house was targeted because of an individual who used to live there. That person was recently charged with a crime, the news release said.

The case remains under investigation.
