Abortion, Holocaust both horribly wrong

I am sorry to say, I did not read the original Fence Post letter from someone who was equating abortion (“choice”) to the Holocaust. I did however read the response on Dec. 3 in the Daily Herald. Mr. Lee states the writer of the original letter had perpetuated a gross insult to the 6 million Jews who died in the worst incidence of genocide in history. He also states “These poor souls had no choice.”

I do agree that what happened to those poor Jews was horrendous. They had no choice. They were murdered just because they were Jews. How could we have allowed this to happen to any human being?

It is the same for all of the millions of babies that have been aborted. They too are victims. Nor did they have a choice. The mother made the choice just as the those who did the atrocities to the Jews.

One does not minimize either. In each case a precious life was taken.

Oh, that neither ever happens again.
